If no, and you have a reasonably new computer… and probably you’ll want broadband internet… then get to the Google Earth Website and download it and install it now. The link opens in a new page and I’ll wait for you right here.

Back? It is really pretty self explanatory… scroll around the earth and view (often in amazing detail) some very cool things.
If you find something you like, you can “pin” it so you can easily recall it later. There is also quite an extensive community of users that share cool spots they find… area 51 theories… patriot missile batteries… messages in crop fields… whatever. If you like that stuff… you’ll find how to do it.

Now… let’s try this. I’ll post a link to a “pin” that will take you to our apartment. I’m actually not sure how this will work… so I might need to edit this post with a better way to do it… but I’m thinking that clicking the link below will take you to our house.

Let me know how this goes for you… I’ll probably use Google Earth links in the future to help you get to know our area better. The resolution of the areas around us is quite good.
