I didn’t realize we did this until afte we did this… but since we celebrated Christmas on December 26th… does that mean we really celebrated BOXING DAY?

How it happened…
A few days ago we asked the kids about their favorite holiday traditions… Bethanie replied that it was how we got up in the morning and took our time opening presents and then ate mommy’s egg casarole and then we did stockings. We were already looking for an alternative to opening presents on Sunday AM because that is a crazy time for us anyway and we didn’t want the presents to distract us from worship that morning. We were having a Christmas Eve activity with our church so that didn’t seem like the best time either. Mrs. SQJ and I pretty much decided on Sunday night… Christmas night. But then we get this info about the morning tradition! Are we old enough to have CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS!!!!!?????? I guess so… and who are we to mess with our kids’ favorite traditions???? So we explained the situation to Bethanie and basically let her pick… and she chose to open presents on the morning of December 26th.

SO……. HAPPY BOXING DAY!!
