As the father of 2 boys (and since I am one myself!) I’m always interested to read about “bringing up boys”. One of the great resources for this topic is the book by James Dobson of that same name. If you are bringing up a boy… I can say without qualification that you need to read Bringing up Boys, by James Dobson. Mr. Dobson is so famous nowadays for being a prominent member of “the religious right” that maybe people have forgotten that Focus on the Family came AFTER he was famous as a psychologist. His books (the ones I’ve read) come primarily from that context (as a psychologist).
