Can somebody help me with this?
We are headed back to the USA at the beginning of April and we have LOTS of computer files that we’d like to have access to from a variety of places. When I say LOTS… I’m talking about maybe 30+ GIGABYTES.
Do you have any suggestions for us? So far I’m thinking of a couple options:
- Buying a portable USB harddrive case… and adding a hard drive and carrying that with us.
- Using www.xdrive.com or www.streamload.com to store the files online so we can access them anywhere.
- Upgrading my XBOX hard drive and storing the files on that.
Pros/Cons
The portable hard drive is a bit expensive… but would allow the fastest access (compared to online storage). The xbox hard drive option is about the same as the portable hard drive except that the xbox is a lot bigger and heavier than the little hard drive case would be. On the other hand… we’ll probably have the xbox with us most of the time anyway. The online options don’t allow for as much storage as I’d like to have… for a price I’m willing to pay… and I’d think large files might be tedious to ul and dl.
Any suggestions????

before i came to the field, i shelled out the cash for an 200GB external harddrive, and haven’t regretted it at all.
if the uploading didn’t take so long, i would say to get multiple xdrive accounts and stick it to the man.
that’s all i got!
