PROTECTION
Twice in Jesus’ prayer in John 17:11-15, Jesus prayed that his followers would be protected from the evil one. Missionary teams are often the target of theft, vandalism, sickness, deception, car troubles, disunity and discouragement. Those issues can be traced back to the evil one who wants to see church planting efforts stopped in their tracks. It is biblical to ask for protection from the evil one.
