I watched the movie Kicking and Screaming (IMDB LINK) the other day.
Pretty funny… course… any movie with DITKA is gonna beat most other movies… (unless the whole cast of the other movie is made up of mini-Ditkas)
Anyway…. I’ve posted what I think is one of the funniest scenes in the movie below… I hope it embeds OK and I think you’ll be able to play it below without leaving the site.
I’ve watched this 25 times at least.
To set up the scene… Phil Weston’s (Will Ferrell) son Sam is about 10 years old and plays youth soccer. He rides the bench on the team coached by his grandpa (Phil’s dad) Buck Weston. His grandpa is too competitive to actually play his grandson, but he tries to help by trading Sam to the last place Tigers. In this clip… Phil is getting upset as he talks with his wife about what his dad has done.
