I love this race… too bad that since Lance Armstrong is not in it… it probably won’t be as accessible on the internet as much as in previous years. Also… the latest news reveals that a couple favorites are out of this race due to doping allegations… Jan Ullrich and Ivan Basso. If they are doping… I’m glad they are gone… but this isn’t good for the sport or the Tour.

You can watch it on OLN… and since I’m in the USA now… I might have a chance to do so as well.

ESPN usually has a decent page for TDF news and their live tracker is always good and looks better than ever.

Yahoo usually has a nice page about the race… but they don’t seem to be ready for the race yet… maybe they’ll launch an updated page soon. Maybe check here later.

CBS Sportsline looks like they might be ready to report on the race.

Fox Sports and The Sporting News apparently have never heard of cycling at all.

The Official Website of the TDF is a GREAT site except that the interface always seems wierd to me. I’ve followed each race since 1999 via this website and they haven’t changed anything in that time. You’ll get intermediate times and commentary on-the-fly and they always have excellent video posted right after the race. It is the best site to have up during the race… but you’ll need to poke around a little to find stuff and learn how the site works.

The official site used to provide the EXCELLENT audio commentary by the OLN broadcast team… but that isn’t available any more. If anyone knows a place on the web to listen to the TDF… please let me know in an email or comment. Thanks!
