A friend sent me the following news this week:
Statement from Kevin Richardson
“After 13 years of what can only be described as a dream come true I have decided that it is time to leave the Backstreet Boys. The decision for me was a very tough decision but necessary in order for me to move on to the next chapter of my life. Nick Carter, Howard Dorough, Alex McLean and Brian Littrell will always be my little brothers and have my utmost support. I would like to thank the Backstreet fans for all of the beautiful memories that we shared together and I wish my brothers continued success. I look forward to hearing their new album.”
I can’t believe I just heard this terrible news… after checking into this (what I thought was surely false) news… I can confirm that as of June 23, 2006… Kevin really did leave The Backstreet Boys.
As my friend also said in her email:
“Please let me know what you come up with or what you [are] gonna do.”

You really need to stay up on your current events…
Actually I didn’t realize the Backstreet Boys were even still together. And another interesting tidbit, Brian Littrell of the group is apparently a Christian and released a Christian CD a year or two ago.
Me personally, I’m an ‘Nsync fan:-)
