Wednesday Night Kids English Club

May 12th, 2007 · 2 Comments

3 weeks ago we started an English Club for 3rd-6th graders on Wednesday nights.

We put up a flyer in our community (apartment building) and all the spots filled up quickly.

In the flyer, we explained that we are Christian missionaries and that our activity each week would consist of a short (~15 minute) Bible lesson in Chinese, but that the rest of the 90 minutes would be taken up with games, crafts, and songs in English.

It is a lot of fun for all of us and it is a great way for our family to serve our community together.

Josie is one of our Christian sisters and she helps out every week.

Here is a picture of the kids… a couple will look pretty familiar to you… One girl got on the collage 2 times because I made it with Google Picasa and it added her again to make the picture even… I didn’t notice it until just now and I’m resisting all of my perfectionist and OCD tendencies to just post it as is………. arggh.
