After talking to a couple RLP (real live people) who read this blog… I discovered that they really hadn’t noticed the “shared items” section in the middle column. I added it when I changed the blog format a few weeks ago. The section title is “Recently Read Elsewhere”.

If you use Google Reader as your blog/news reader… it is VERY easy to add some of the posts you read to a list of “shared items” and it will give you the code to put some of those items on your blog.

So now… I just read blogs and news in Google Reader as always… and click a small icon if I want to share specific posts and they will show up at the top of my “recently read elsewhere” list here on SQJTaipei. As I share more items… the older ones scroll down the list until they eventually disappear from the list.

This shared items list helps me let you know about other posts/news that I think is important or useful but I don’t think I can spare the time for a separate blog post for each link. Be sure that you check out some of the links.
