Found a “rad” video on youtube the other day…
I can’t believe I didn’t know about this effort at the time (about 1985 I’d guess) but I’m glad to have found it now.
If you were into 80s metal (and you KNOW YOU WERE!) then check this out. If this is your first taste of the best music the world has ever known… welcome friend!
A few highlights for me… and then the video.
- A lot of hairspray in that room…
- Rob Halford of Judas Priest rocks… I’m pretty sure that is him at about 2:09 going *REALLY* high.
- The guys from Spinal Tap are in this… the hilarious-est thing I’ve seen in a while.
- Geoff Tate is why I love Queensrÿche and Queensrÿche is why I prefer to go by Sqüïggÿ Jähmäl instead of Squiggy Jahmal. It takes too long to type it like that, though and people pronounce it wrong all the time.
- Where was Bruce Dickenson?
- Yngwie!
- Was Night Ranger a metal band?
Get ready to rock and roll… and laugh!

I knew I saw Ted Nugent in there too. Here is the wikipedia link to see who all were in there.

Edit: The original link was having trouble because of an apostrophe I guess… the above link works —SQJ
