–hattip to Michael Turton (who hattipped one of his readers, too)–
I truly love Taipei. Please don’t tell my family… but sometimes I really can’t imagine living anywhere else. In fact, the only downside to living in Taipei is that my family isn’t here.
I love to see Taiwan get coverage in the media and Michael links to an article in the NY Times about Taipei.
Says Edward Wong of the NY Times:
Here is a Chinese culture (some contend that it is uniquely Taiwanese) that practices bare-knuckled democracy and has preserved traditions thousands of years old in a way that was impossible to do on the mainland.
36 Hours in Taipei, Taiwan - New York Times
I’ll never explore all of Taipei’s wonders. In fact, I feel like I learn of new places I want to go every day…
You won’t regret spending time in Taipei for vacation or to visit us! Just let us know when to pick you up at the airport!
