So my last name is Pagel.

I have a google alert set up for “Pagel” because I think it is cool to see what others around the world with my name are doing. Who knows what I might learn about my family?

The alert will scan news and blogs for the word “PAGEL” and give me links every day via email.

In the last few weeks, there seems to have been a rash of Pagels going to jail for heinous things. Hopefully their long stays in jail/prison will result in a better genepool for Pagels and the world.

There is also a Pagel who is over her baby’s due date. I bet she’d think it strange that I know about that. Just goes to show that anything you put on your blog is far from private, eh?

Typically, I get anywhere from 1-5 links related to Pagel news each day.

In the last few days, I’ve started getting several more links each day…

Apparently Britney Spears’ ex-boyfriend has a new girlfriend… Amanda Pagel.

It is impossible to write exactly how little I could possibly care about that news.

Just like searching with google… if you want certain terms to NOT show up in your search, you just put a “-” before it.

Now my google alert is for “Pagel -amanda” and it is back to normal.
