Those of you who know me personally (instead of digitally) and share my love of sports have probably heard me talk about the College World Series… hosted in my hometown of Omaha, Nebraska where the people are… friendly.
Here’s an article from ESPN that might help explain why it is such a great event… it isn’t just the baseball… but the people from all over the country that come to cheer for their team and end up making lifelong friendships.
Except when Nebraska or Creighton are in the CWS, I’m a fan of LSU… or whoever is playing Texas.

Not really computer savy, so can’t find where else to send an email. Just wanted to make contact. My husband and I are moving to Taipei soon, & I homeschool our two boys. I was looking on google for homeschool groups in Taipei & came across your blog here. Thought it would be great to email another Christian who seems to homeschool, is from the US, & homeschools! Feel free to say hello…I’d love to land knowing a family that has so many things in common. Oh, & another thing…we youth ministered for several years in Oakland, IA (30min from Council Bluffs) until we moved back home (OK) to go to a year of missions school.
